Refund & Cancellation Policy

Overview

This website is operated by Saikat Ghosh trading as SaikatAcademy. We offer online Chemistry courses, live classes, study notes, and educational resources for Class 9–12 students. Please read this policy carefully before making any purchase.

All refund requests are processed in good faith and decided on a case-by-case basis. We aim to respond within 2 business days.

Refunds are not applicable on free content, notes downloads, or demo lessons.

Section 03

Refund Mode & Processing Time

Approved refunds are credited back to the original payment method (UPI, debit/credit card, net banking, or wallet).
Refunds are processed within 7–10 business days from the date of approval.
For duplicate or accidental payments, refunds are processed within 3–5 business days.
Bank processing times may add an additional 2–5 business days depending on your bank.
Refunds will not be issued in cash or via alternative payment methods.

Section 04

Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your course enrollment at any time from your student dashboard or by emailing us. Cancellation does not automatically trigger a refund — please refer to the refund eligibility table above.

Cancellations requested within 24 hours of purchase (and before accessing any content) are eligible for a full refund.
Cancellations after 24 hours are subject to the standard 7-day refund window and content access criteria above.
For live session subscriptions, cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the next scheduled session to avoid being charged for that session.
After cancellation, your access to paid content will continue until the end of the current enrollment period.

Section 05

Non-Refundable Items

Downloadable study material packs (once downloaded)
Live sessions already attended or recorded replays accessed
Courses where more than 20% of content has been consumed
Promotional or discounted courses (unless otherwise stated)
Courses purchased with a coupon offering more than 50% discount

How to Request a Refund

To initiate a refund or cancellation, email us with the following details:

Your registered name and email / phone number
Order ID / Transaction ID
Course name and date of purchase
Reason for refund request
