By visiting, registering on, or otherwise using SaikatAcademy (the "Platform"), you agree to comply with and be legally bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Platform.

SaikatAcademy is an online educational platform providing Chemistry courses and study materials for students in Class 9–12 across ICSE, CBSE, and WBBSE boards.

To use SaikatAcademy, you must:

• Be at least 13 years of age. Users under 18 must have consent from a parent or legal guardian.
• Be capable of entering into a legally binding agreement under applicable law.
• Not have been previously suspended or removed from the Platform for violations of these Terms.

Parents or guardians who register on behalf of minor students accept these Terms on their behalf and take full responsibility for their use of the Platform.

To access enrolled courses, live sessions, and the student portal, you may be required to create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration.
• Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• Notify us immediately at support@saikatacademy.in if you suspect any unauthorized access.
• Not share, sell, or transfer your account to any other person.

SaikatAcademy reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these obligations, or that appear to be fraudulent.

SaikatAcademy offers Chemistry courses including live sessions, pre-recorded videos, downloadable study notes, MCQ practice, and doubt-clearing classes for Class 9–12 students.

• Free content (select notes and previews) is available to all visitors without registration.
• Paid courses require valid enrollment and payment. Access is granted for the period specified at purchase.
• Live session schedules are subject to change. We will endeavour to provide reasonable notice of rescheduled or cancelled sessions.
• Content is intended solely for personal, non-commercial educational use.

Course content, including notes and videos, is protected by intellectual property law. Downloading, redistributing, or reproducing any content without prior written permission is strictly prohibited.

All content on this Platform — including text, graphics, logos, course videos, study notes, MCQ banks, live session recordings, and the overall look and feel — is the exclusive property of SaikatAcademy or its licensors, protected under Indian and international copyright and intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use content solely for your own personal, non-commercial educational purposes. You may not:

• Copy, reproduce, distribute, or publicly display any content without prior written consent.
• Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works from any content.
• Scrape, data-mine, or use automated tools to extract content.
• Use any content for commercial purposes or for the benefit of a third party.
• Remove any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices.

By using the Platform, you agree not to:

• Post or transmit content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or obscene.
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation.
• Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or other malicious code.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform.
• Use the Platform to send unsolicited communications (spam).
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Platform.

SaikatAcademy reserves the right to remove content or disable accounts that violate these standards, at its sole discretion and without prior notice.

Certain courses and features require payment. By making a purchase, you agree to provide accurate billing information and authorize SaikatAcademy or its payment processors to charge the applicable fees. All prices are in INR and inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

Refund Policy: Refund requests may be considered within 7 days of purchase, provided less than 20% of the course content has been accessed. Contact us at support@saikatacademy.in. Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days.

Free-tier content such as publicly available notes and demo lessons carries no purchase obligation.

SaikatAcademy participates in the Google AdSense programme. By using the Platform, you acknowledge that:

• Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
• You may opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info/choices.
• SaikatAcademy does not control the content of Google-served advertisements.
• Clicking on advertisements may redirect you to external websites; SaikatAcademy is not responsible for those sites.

Advertisements are clearly distinguishable from editorial content. Our content recommendations are editorially independent and not influenced by advertisers.

Your privacy matters to us. Our collection, use, and sharing of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which you should read alongside these Terms.

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Platform, remember preferences, analyse traffic, and serve relevant advertisements. You may manage or disable cookies through your browser settings, though this may affect Platform functionality.

SaikatAcademy provides educational content for supplementary learning purposes only. The Platform and all content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind.

• SaikatAcademy does not guarantee the Platform will be uninterrupted or error-free.
• Results mentioned are based on past student performance and do not guarantee similar outcomes for all users.
• SaikatAcademy is not affiliated with or endorsed by any examination board unless explicitly stated.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SaikatAcademy, its owners, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform, including loss of data, revenue, or profits.

SaikatAcademy's total aggregate liability for any claims shall not exceed the amount you paid to SaikatAcademy in the three months preceding the claim.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless SaikatAcademy from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of:

• Your use of or access to the Platform.
• Your violation of these Terms.
• Your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property or privacy rights.
• Any content you submit or transmit through the Platform.

SaikatAcademy reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that is harmful to other users, the Platform, or third parties.

You may deactivate your account at any time by contacting support@saikatacademy.in. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.

SaikatAcademy may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify registered users by email or through a prominent notice on the Platform.

Continued use of the Platform following the posting of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Platform.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in West Bengal, India.

In the event of any dispute, both parties agree to first attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation for 30 days before pursuing legal remedies.
